Allotment goodies!

We returned home from holiday. Given that we are suffering from a "heat wave" I was fully expecting my veggies to have perished in the last week. The tomatoes in the green house were looking sorry for themselves but I believe they will recover now they have had some water. At the allotment the vegetables have gone mental in the last week. Our neighbour had kindly watered everything while we were away, I am immensely grateful. Everything has just sprung into action, I am delighted! Tonight's dinner is a beetroot and bean salad, mmmm.
