The start of week three

A drive over to Ravenglass today. The scenery was beautiful all the way, fells and fields, stone farmhouses and miles of stone walks. Quite a lot of traffic for midweek and a lot of narrow roads. We've been in the site here before, a couple of times, but with Ollie, so more than five years ago. It's lovely to be back, lots of trees on the site so more privacy and space. 

Lottie and headed to the beach and Mike cycled down to the station to book the train to Dalegarth for tomorrow. The narrow gauge railway is a real treat and so we can't risk not getting a seat! Four tickets required, us two plus Lottie and the bike. It's a real boon, saves Mike a lot of grief from his legs.

I'm pretty tired after more than four hours in the saddle yesterday but I'm not sore or stiff, which is pretty good going!
