Another superb day…

hot, sunny, cloudless sky , made walking to the Castle and along the Firth a joy! The fields near the castle were full of Common Darters , Peacock and Red Admiral butterflies. The castle on its island is a wonderful sight and site, because it was virtually impregnable.
