Two of a Kind

We had to go down to the village so took our springer for a very short walk to Northfield Wood, the local community project woodland. I've Blipped it before as we were last there in the summer, when the open areas were a mass of wild flowers, now a mass of seedheads. It was too breezy for anything which was able to sway around, but this medlar tree provided some steadyish subjects for me.

Our springer had surgery last Thursday to investigate problems on a paw and in his ear (a small growth in each area) & had his post-op check-up yesterday, so this is the first time he's been out on a walk, apart from in the garden. He's been gradually getting more and more bored, bulldozing around the house with his plastic collar (the type to stop him licking/pulling at his stitches), so it was good to get out, and the village walk provided plenty of scents to investigate.
