Several muscles told me to leave the concrete alone today and I listened. But I did carry a whole lot of rubble and old wood to the front of the house ready for a friend who is kindly giving me a lift to the Recycling Centre tomorrow to save me my usual Wednesday double bike-ride. I also pulled out a lot of rampant mint and some timid weeds.

Gorgeous light all day, but especially this evening. It almost makes up for the evening starting so very early.

Once the light had all gone I went to see the film Sing Sing. It appealed on paper and I haven't yet worked out why it didn't really work for me. Too worthy?
