Buchaille Etive Beag

Got up early (extra) but by the time I had packed up the camping stuff, had breakfast, and driven to the carpark at the start of the walk, the carpark was already full - thankfully, there was one not too far away.
Buchaille Etive Beag is a lovely hill with two Munros. Navigation is very easy and the path pretty good. I made good time to the first summit - then went a little further to see views of Loch Etive (second extra). It was an absolute scorcher but quite hazy.
There, I received a message from Lucie, "is it normal to feel worse before you get better?" so immediately contacted her. She was feeling dizzy, sick, itchy all over and her lips were starting to swell.. Both my dad and I had anaphylaxis, and I think I can recognise an allergic reaction, so I told her to get a taxi to the A&E asap - which she did.
I continued to the second summit - keeping in touch with Lucie - a much shorter but quite steep, and it was tough in that heat! From there you had great views of Glencoe (last extra)  and you could see the Nevis range in the distance. The descent was slow and I could tell that Django was suffering from the heat.
I got back down early afternoon - and decided to drive home straight away - Glencoe was mobbed! - stopping on the way for ice-cream and food. I contacted Lucie who had been seen straight away and was diagnosed with mild anaphylaxis and sepsis. She was to be kept in hospital for a couple of days. I offered to go to London, but she wouldn't have it. Her friends were being very good to her but I wished I had gone anyway..
