The Fountain of the Twelve Months

We ran 11k along the river and through the park and back this morning before breakfast.

After breakfast, we ambled to Parco del Valentino, where a very bold squirrel ran right up to our feet, and even stood up and looked at me, before running off at a dog’s interest in it.

We also saw the Fountain of the Twelve Months by Ceppi. There’s a statue for each month, plus some other statues. I love the face on the figure on the right in the photo :D

We had a very disappointing lunch. Happy Cow, normally so reliable, let us down several times :(

We went back to the flat after that because we were tired, then went out for a burger and gnocco frito with plant-based Nutella, which is now a thing. This dessert is rather like Spanish churros.

Stuffed to the rafters, and really quite tired, we came back home and watched the nonsense that is Guns Akimbo.
