Ladybird on sedum
It's been an unusually warm day for mid-September. I made the most of it in the garden. I dug up all the potato plants, pulled out a few potatoes, made a temporary home in the vegetable patch for the wallflowers that we bought yesterday, added leaves to the compost heap, planted crocus bulbs in the corners of the lawn, and supervised the move of our brightest acer from a pot to a permanent position next to the patio just beyond the fruit bushes. Mr hazelh, who was with me much of the time, also mended the bird table, and put up a picture in my shed (not far from a wee section of 'new' carpeting).
I lost all but one of our holiday games of Scrabble. This evening I thought that I would have a go at recovering my form. I failed :-(
This ladybird was enjoying itself on the sedum this afternoon.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; gardening; walking (9,800 steps).
