Tiny Tuesday - Iris

I'm not sure that McCaviti had this in mind when he/she set the themes for the September challenge but this is the way I have chosen to interpret it,, especially since I do not have the requisite flowers to hand. I did not feel it was fair to poke my camera so close to other people's faces so I ended up with a selfie. It took me a while to understand that you cannot look at the shutter button  whilst capturing the shot as you end up with a load of squint-eyed images. 

I was tempted to recolour my eyes as I have never been particular happy with my greenish eye colour but I withstood that temptation and produced as wysiwyg image (what you see is what you get).
