the very long dog

This exceedingly long sausage dog used to belong to my auntie Laurie - it wasn’t really her style of ornament but she said she just had to buy him when she saw him on a market stall. He stands on the shelf in front of all my Stodstreet Tails books of dog photos looking shiny, sleek, and very long. I love him and I’m glad that I have him.
Our meeting today with (hopefully) Ziggy’s new little friend was postponed until tomorrow morning by the kennels. They rang early this morning saying they were having work done all day on the ‘Introduction Room’. So we wait another day…..
