Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire.

We had breakfast at Castle Lodge Buttery then went down to Dinham Bridge (short distance from town centre) to look at the fossil beds. We found a fossil but we did not disturb it as this is a SSSI. See extra of the sheered off piece of stone with the fossil.
After mooching around there and doing the earthcache we went to Tenbury Wells and the main photo is of The Royal Oak, a 16th century inn there.
Another extra of Ye Old Bull Ring Tavern where we had our evening meal tonight and which was the best meal we had all week. Proper grub, not posh, ostentatious, overpriced yuck! Yummy, ordinary food.
We liked Tenbury Wells with a number of very interesting black & white buildings, an old workhouse building of brick and a famous bridge with a bend in the middle.
Extras are of the Round Market and the Old Fire Station.
There is a lovely church there which we visited.
We popped in a second hand / antiques shop and I bought 2 new boxes! Aaargh - I'll never stop this. At least they are not very big (they are both round, wooden ones with metallic lids).
I did the adventure lab cache there and wasn't going to bother with the bonus cache but Terry was going in another antique shop and I was antiqued out so I worked out the bonus while he was browsing. I went off for the cache and gasped my way up a hill to it and couldn't find it!
