Everybody needs a body

My neighbour Monica has left a pre-loved mannequin outside for any takers. It was very soon gone.

I had my yearly NHS medical today. It's the first face to face appointment I've had at my surgery since before I was diagnosed with cancer.

Although confident about the state of my health I had requests of the GP.

He was new! He hadn't read my notes and panicked when I requested a non chlorihexadine antiseptic. I carefully explained why, but that seemed like too much information for him. He palmed me off with a call from the pharmacist.

Luckily my blood pressure was fine when he checked it, although I doubt his was!
