When we escaped in August. A view from our holiday pad.

There'll be a gap between this photo taken in August and when I came back to Blipfoto in September. Can't have an empty profile can I?
Soon I'll be getting a new (second hand) Lumix compact camera, which has a viewfinder even. 

Why?

From a techie point of view, it is a pain to take photos when the screen on my phone is obscurred by sunlight. Plus the zoom is totally useless.

From a truthful point of view. I have turned my smart phone into a "dumb phone". So no social media is on it, nor anything else I could consider needlessly distracting.

So back to basics and having to upload photos to my desktop PC or laptop. If anything, it'll stop having photos floating around on too many devices and useless images automatically uploading to my Amazon Photos account.
