Elusive Butterfly
Apparently, we are trying to take a photo of a Marbled White Butterfly. Or so she says!!
Apparently, there is a small colony of them in the grass at the edge of the cricket pitch, but they won't settle long enough to get a shot.
Apparently there is a heatwave - as if I didn't know.
I am sitting quietly, perfectly happy in the shade of the sight screen, while she is wandering aimlessly in long glass. It doesn't look as if she is trying to flush out a pheasant or smell a badger or stalk a deer, or anything important like that - just a blipping butterfly.
And then - she started singing this and muttering "The perfect title"
As you can probably guess from this image, she didn't get a decent shot of the Elusive Butterfly.
Now she's off out for the evening, looking for something else I expect.... ooops!
Anybody got space for the perfect dog for the next month or so? I've already packed.
