Monday

A slightly shorter route with Dippy this morning, across the stubble and the edge of Tapeley gardens. Pheasants are now quite numerous as they expand their territories from where they have been released. Back in the farmhouse for a hot drink and for the pack of dogs to be released into the field for a charge about together, before a short excursion to Appledore fish docks with T to see what he had created when dredging the trawler access.
Laundry and general duties around the campsite plus poultry and pig feeding were the main activities on returning to base.
S arrived and we were able to have some useful discussion on upcoming projects and events.
Bike maintenance in the stunning summer weather proved to be very beneficial.
Settling in a camper and providing some information about the area and its history was appreciated.
Managed to get H to come out for a walk with the dogs in the golden hour and he helped me with Dippy and his sheep chasing dilemma.
Zzzzzzz.
