Gargling Grackles

Yes, the plague of grackles continues at Dogcorner Cottage. Another invasion with sunshine on their shoulders, enhancing their feathers and perhaps their appetites. They squawk and fight and gorge themselves at feeders, then swill water with even more gusto if possible. I hope they have travel plans soon...

This day came in with brilliant sun and warm temps. Still no rain and that is taking a toll on the trees and plants.
