WAITING FOR CRUMBS

I wasn't going to blip another bird today but this young starling insisted. I drove up to Alnmouth to meet an old school-friend who's there on a walking holiday and we went over to Alnwick, walked around the Gardens, looked into Barter Books, ate cake and ice cream and generally caught up with things. After I'd dropped her back at her hotel I set off home but realised another coffee to wake me up a bit would be a good idea so stopped at Amble where this bird had its beady eye on the little Lotus biscuit on my plate (I presume). I never eat those so once it realised that the biscuit wasn't going to be unwrapped and reduced to crumbs it lost interest, but had stayed long enough for a blip. That wayward feather didn't seem to stop it flying about.
