Funny day

Quite full on day today.  V and I wandered up into Bembridge village and sat down for a cup of coffee. It’s one of those English villages that is actually very wealthy.  I heard one man talking about how he’d been doing operations this morning, and another talking about being back in the City the next day.  

Jo, JC V and I all worked hard, with these lovely people pictured doing a paella, to put a party together.   We planned to show episode one in a tent but the projector J had really needed darkness so at the final moment we did it inside the house. 

Everyone very jolly but once they had all gone we, JC, Vik and I watched the show together. I was following on Twitter which was OK but because of the amazing previews that morning it was a shock to get a nasty review in the Guardian. 

Went to bed quite jangled but with a lot of positive feedback too.
