A Polar Bear in Disguise!

Well I didn’t get to travel to the Arctic to see Polar Bears for my big birthday, but today a friend took me to the new Bristol Zoo Project for a belated birthday outing and I saw Brown Bears! 

Bristol Zoo has moved out of its city centre location and is now more like a mini walking safari park. At Bear Wood you walk through the trees along an elevated walkway, looking down into large enclosures where you can see Lynx, Wolverines, Wolves and of course the Bears. There were many other animals, some of which you can see in my extras. My favourite animal was the very cute Red Panda, but my favourite pic is probably the sunbathing Lemur. I took over 200 photos but haven’t had chance to look at them properly, there may be a collage tomorrow!

A wonderful 4 hours in the warm sunshine. Back at home things aren’t quite so wonderful but I won’t dwell on that. But I will need to wait until tomorrow to catch up with your journals.
