Wall Pushers!

Went along to the Saturday morning prayer group this morning and David said “when our friends are sick we lay hands on them, pray for them and anoint them with oil… Well, our friend Cliff is sick and so I think we should go anoint him, lay hands, and pray…” For context, the wall holding up the hill (cliff) above our church that the c of e church is on top of has been deemed unsafe by the council, thankfully it is their responsibility to sort… but as with any council, but especially a bankrupt one such as ours… progress is very slow and meanwhile our top car park is closed off and we are unable to use our youth building… so a bit of a nuisance… so off we wandered to lay hands, anoint with oil and pray for cliff! Not sure if passers by thought we were trying to hold it up or push it down!
