Mountain chirch

If you are in Idar-Oberstein, the mountain church is an eye-catcher. Idar-Oberstein, known for its gemstones and gemstone mining, is a lot less touristy than it was years ago. Many shops are closed or simply empty.
We spoke to a couple who run a gemstone and jewelry shop who said they can no longer keep the water above their heads and therefore held a big sale.
