The Whistling Kettle

Sounds like a book title, or a film or something…..

In actual fact it is the latest addition to my kitchen gadgets. Although it’s going to be put out of sight soon and hopefully not used again.

When we lost power last week it was fine to use the gas hob and boil a pan of water for washing etc but just for two cups of tea was a bit of faff, so we bought a cheap whistling kettle. It did the job.
