Keeping Cool

On a morning walk in the cool shade of the forest I heard a tremendous splashing noise coming from the creek and got to the waters edge just as this happy dog swam into view travelling at a great rate of knots.

I managed to get just one shot before he disappeared around a bend followed by his lady owner at some distance behind trying to call him back to shore but to no avail, he was enjoying himself far too much.

At the speed the dog was travelling he is probably out to sea and approaching Portsmouth by now.
