Beau isn’t with me today. Definitely not his nose sniffing the cheese (I love how he does this when I make food) and definitely not curled up on the sofa with me as I post this.

Jo’s friend had organised her MOT and service for her and had complained that she never brings Beau over so that was the plan.

There definitely wasn’t a ring on the doorbell at 07:30 that woke me up and Beau definitely didn’t run straight up and under the cosy duvet.

He definitely did dig his heels in and refuse to get in the car and dragged Jo to my door!
