Solace Day 3 - Weed Hatch

Unexpected items in the propellor area!

Not a great day we had rain most of the journey. It dried up mid afternoon thankfully, because we came to a halt. The boat would drive nowhere. Kat manage by using the tiller to get the boat to drift towards the tow path. She took a leap (I'm glad I wasn't watching) and pulled  Solace to the shore. 

The Man and Kat took our specially crafted tool to see what they could find down the weed hatch. The weed hatch has an inspection space above it for when bits of vegetation or debris get wrapped around the propellor.

What a shock! An Armani belt, a brolly, a light fitting, rope, fabric and goodness knows what else. What I've photographed here was only half of it.

Thank you for your kind words, I am feeling much better now though not doing a lot. Oops, I've missed a blip! I was also feeling better yesterday.
