Kiltwalkers

Last day of the Art Walk but I also took time out to meet my friend S and her pal M who were doing the Kiltwalk - twenty and a bit miles starting in Holyrood Park then out to Musselburgh, back along Porty Prom and then on through Leith before looping round to the finish at Murrayfield Stadium. 
 
There were also a couple of shorter walks - an 11-mile one that started in Musselburgh and a 5-mile one from Victoria Park. Over nine thousand walkers altogether. I met S and M at Joppa Pans and then walked with them for a couple of miles to the Seafield end of the Prom. It was nice to catch up with S as it has been a while since we last met. Can it really be four years?
 
The Art Walk finished off with another foraged feast on the beach as the sun set and the moon rose (extra).
