The escapee

I put this basket on the floor to see how long it took Emme get in … as soon as she saw it. Emme has been with me for two months today.

THEN THIS HAPPENED …as usual I took the the rubbish out to the big bins. She has never shown any attempt to try and get out the door but tonight she ran outside. It was dark. She didn’t travel far but any time I tried to coach her in she ran away. I left her be with the hope she would return. I did go out from time to time. She would come right up to me but not allow me to pick her up. Treats helped and leaving her be also helped. Finally she waltzed in as if it was normal for her to have an evening exploration. Phew!
