Street Fighter Saturday

After Kie got fully aghast at the fact that I have never seen Street Fighter II, we dubbed today Street Fighter Saturday. I started mine by popping to the hairdressers (no street fights on the route, thankfully) and picking up a spot of lunch before Rich and I watched the Man Utd game. When Kie arrived we whipped up some dinner using the Street Fighter cookbook (pad kra prao, which was absolutely delicious) and got exasperated at the Villa game before kicking off our Street Fighter evening. The movie was pretty good, I didn't completely suck at the games despite having never played them before and not knowing how to block or do special moves (I lost all of my fights overall but did manage to beat both Kie and Rich in one round of each fight) and generally had a delightful time. Once we were all Street Fightered out, we busted out a bit of Shredder's Revenge, in which I kept getting confused because I was trying out Usagi for fun and Kie was playing as Donnie, who I usually play as. D'oh! Fun times all round though :)
