The Gang is Here
The Last Cruise in Company of the year and a good turn out for a trip over to Inchcolm - sixteen boats though two dropped out on the crossing. We’d left in fine sunshine but a squall did hit us half way over. We wouldn't have it any other way. Keil and a pal from the US took Dumbo over to ferry us ashore after anchoring (I won’t go into that - maybe a Rocna would be a good idea) and the kind people at Historic Scotland had waived their usual landing charge. So there we sat beside the beach and picnicked until the hooter was sounded for the homeward trip.
I must say what a great crowd of people the Corinthians currently are; not just the grumpy old buffers, but yes, young people too! Though don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with being a grumpy old buffer.
