Winchester walk

Off to Winchester this morning to meet up with some other old colleagues for a short walk along the river out of Winchester. What a lovely sunny day! We passed by an abbey used by pilgrims and made a note to go back for a tour another time as it looked a lovely set of buildings to explore.

After a coffee stop in the cathedral in Winchester, I browsed the shops looking for a small rucksack, but came away with a winter coat instead, as you do! Something I’ve been meaning to get to replace my very old and slightly faded existing coat. And there was a sale in so saved £40 on it!
