Poppy

Another long wander but tonight my car will be returned to me. There are so many directions I can head off in and always find wee corners as yet unexplored. I wandered at one point along a back lane and saw this poppy in a garden. I always think poppies look so papery. Amongst other photos I took were some forget-me-nots. I haven't taken any this year and I don't like to forget them but in the end the poppy won the day.

Spent an awfully long and arduous time taking ivy from a wall and a crow bar is now needed to yank some of the lower and more stubborn parts from their formidable grip.
