Bowes Museum
It was quite a drive getting here. Thick fog and driving rain and an unknown road which had incredible hills and bends on it!
Once we got here, it was all worth it. The sun came out, there was a nice woodland walk for which ever one of us wasn't in the museum to enjoy with Lottie and, we both agreed, it was a wonderful experience in the museum. A quite amazing collection of items and a bonus of exhibitions of Lowrie and Norman Cornish. Wonderful. I found Cornish's drawings of miners very moving.
The drive back was much the same as the drive there, but with the addition of 50+ motorbikes coming towards us through the mist!
