Homeward bound.

Todays event was just above Malham. The area was shrouded in mist and wet. Even wearing a cagoule I was cold. It was more physical terrain than yesterday. Think two days was probably too much for a return to competition. The knee did well despite being tested to the full. Just tired from a poor nights sleep and running yesterday. I went walkabout on one control not stopping and realising I had gone too far. However I kept going and made it to the end.

Although visibility was better as we drove away it was still wet. So grabbed this through the windscreen on the way past Byland Abbey. Very relieved to enjoy a hot cuppa and a soak in the bath.

An early night beckons!
