Edolo

Today was a full day ‘off’ so we took the train up to the top of the Val Camonica and spent the day walking around the delightful town of Edolo, seen here from the church above the town, and having a very nice time. There were a lot of bikers in town. We had coffee and cakes among the lively and friendly Vespa Club of Pisogne, which is on Lake Iseo further down the valley. Then a sandwich lunch outside at a café also frequented by bikers - it’s been a very hot and sunny day. After lunch we went for a walk by the River Oglio. This is the end of the train line, 32 kms from the Swiss border. According to Wikipedia there’s a summer bus that connects to Tirano over the border.
