Disappointment

The Hawkshead brewery and bar,  just 2 miles up the road and one of hubs of the village has announced its closing with two weeks notice. Its been here since 2006. Big shock, they've already ripped out the bar.  Here is a Blip of son M pulling a pint.  The brewery has a large brewing presence in Flookburgh but Flookburgh does not get the visitors that Staveley gets.  We're hoping another brewery takes the space. Big thumbs down for Halewood Artisan Spirits who bought the brewery in 2017
