Beautiful Visitor

Early Fall Migration is upon us! This female American Redstart stopped by for a refreshing few minutes, splashing around in our bog. I can't even remember the last time I saw a Redstart but there she was! After I managed a few shots of her, check the *extras!, I spent some time searching for a male. But he was not to be found. Apparently they migrate solo. So, 'keep your eyes peeled' (a phrase my Nana was fond of) 'cause the birds are on the move!
