On holiday

It didn't rain although it was quite chilly when we set off. Nice not to travel far .

We stopped at Bowness for a stroll along the path to Cockshott point and the sun was quite warm . Warm enough to take off my jacket. 

We arrived at the Lowood and managed to find a parking place . It s a busy place .

After putting our bags in the room we walked up to the viewing point above the hotel.  It was sunny but there was an Icy wind blowing so not good enough to sit there for long. 
Lots of rain clouds about too. 

Too overcast for sunset photos but at least it stayed dry when we went out for our walk along the marina with Fletch after dinner.
