I think it’s a brimstone?

Spotted from the kitchen window. I crept out very carefully, but only had one quick chance before it fluttered off. I’m afraid it’s not really in good focus, but I’m so pleased I saw it. Haven’t seen one of these for many years. And the colour goes nicely with the verbena.
A nice day pottering at home. There are so many apples on my tree I’m taking bags of them to my neighbours. It was sunny, so I was in the garden tidying for much of the day. Portia was delighted, and lay down on my spongy kneeling mat every time I got off it:)
