Lavish

Did I say whistlestop? Up and atom and out for a couple of hours around NYC... first breakfast, we both had a Paris Ham, Sea Salt Butter & White Cheddar on Pain d'Avignon Baguette.. yummilicious!! Down to see the Flat Iron building, but it was Madison Square Park that took our attention, 2 dog parks, one for littles, one for bigs... we're missing our boy, these ones were funny. Keeping dogs, big dogs, in Nyc though? It was roasting.

Then back to the hotel for our bags and Penn Station for our Amtrak train to Philidelphia, 90 min trip. We were an hour before check-in, so left our bags and did some whistling as we stopped at some Philly attractions... it was roasting more (30c)  first past the National Constition Center  where Harris/Trump debated (I say debated...) the other night... the Liberty Bell with Independence Hall behind us and finally back to the hotel for a freshen up.

Out for a quick dinner, then finally to... the whole point of this trip... the Wells Fargo Center to see Twenty One Pilots. To cut a long story longer, we had a reward flight expiring in a week or so... Ms H is off work this Monday, so let's see if we can surprise her for her birthday with a trip to wherever Twenty One Pilots are playing... cool, Philly works and NYC works with the flight timings... let's do this. It's been a bit stressful up to this point, too many things that could go wrong, and nearly did, but we made it. When Ms H first introduced me to the band some years ago, I pretty much dove right in, if I was young, I'd know all the lyrics, I'd paint my arms and neck black and wear a red beanie hat, but I'm not, so I am just less than that, but I love them. And so does Ms H (she knows all the lyrics) and we loved the show, they popped up in the middle of the hall stages a few times, sound was great, and they were on for 2 1/4 hours.

Lavish is the name of their song being performed in the bottom right photo, the video is funny and so was their performance of it. 

Right enough, we've got to begin backsliding all the way home now after some zeds.
