Five
There's no Parkrun in Whistler any more, it didn't restart after the pandemic a couple of years ago. Himself and I decided to run the course anyway, albeit starting a bit later as we didn't manage to get up particularly early. I blame the live music in the pub last night. The (not)course is round a (mostly flat) lake and very pretty. I'm not sure when I'll ever read "What to if you meet a bear" advice before a Parkrun again!
After that, and with no Saturday Kitchen to amuse us we decided to walk another 5k or so to Whistler Creek along the Sea to Sky trail, a long distance pathway. We arrived just as the heavens opened.
After hiding for a while it wasn't letting up so we jumped on a bus home before getting some lunch - Butter Chicken Poutine (chips and curry sauce, but nicer, to the uninitiated) - before back to the room to dry off.
Obviously the sun has come out now but sadly the pool is full of teenagers being teenagery (ie irritating) so I'm not going back in there.
Stage five of the big adventure happens tomorrow, which is sadly the last part (excluding the flight home later in the week). It's been an amazing time so far.
