Walked to the Castle..

… Nice walk.

Very impressive castle.

Lucky with weather.

Again, very little wildlife along the river path.
Maybe because of the high winds over the past few days?

I am getting along nicely with the books I brought. (Sign of a good break for me). I’m reading two, simultaneously. One is a kind of text book type (on a subject I love) and the other is a wickedly gossipy biography. (The review says it is ‘disgustingly entertaining’… I won’t argue with that. Maybe I’ll finish it? Maybe I shan’t be bothered).

The sun, when one is away from home, seems to be over the yardarm an hour earlier.
That’s a strange quirk isn’t it?
