Eye to Eye

I put up my tent again today after only taking it down a few days ago because of the high winds. It looks rather battered to be honest but so long as it does the job I don't mind.

I initially erected it as the kestrel was hunting in the sunlight outside in the garden this afternoon but later on my roebuck sauntered through the hedgerow a plus being the light turning a little golden as the sun went down. 

The deer have be quite shy this summer and it was great to see them at much closer quarters today. They normally sleep in the field/garden and I can clearly see them in the dark with the thermal binoculars. We have a muntjac too that wanders through usually stopping for a munch on the fallen apples.

We've been out for a curry tonight and it has to be said that mine was truly amazing!
