Down down down

Our last day and up again for a 4.30am breakfast and 5 am set off. Some fantastic granite scenery today - quite different - and at one point half the group indulged in some entertaining scrambling including a ’lizard’ move under an overhang to emerge on a viewpoint with weirdly weathered rock. A last stream pool dip and picnic then down into Conca village through Maquis scrub to start celebrating while waiting for our minibus back to a hotel (such luxury) for our last night. It’s been an amazing hike despite some bad luck with the weather.
