Morning light

Very worrying call from Tim's Mum this morning, saying that his brother (who yesterday we thought had pneumonia) had a ruptured spleen, and had internal bleeding after they operated to remove it.  He was rushed back into surgery, and they found that his pancreas was also damaged.  Later in the day, he was transferred to Stoke, to see a specialist surgeon.  (We tried to take it as a positive sign that he was stable enough to be transferred.)
