Crème Brûlée
Hurricane Francine landed in Louisiana on Wednesday evening. She caused damage while flooding and tree damage from winds knocked out power.
I was fortunate to only experience the bands of wind and rain that only took down my 3 Sunflower plants and left lots of leaves and small branches.
Thursday morning the sun came out mid morning in my area and life was back to normal. Not of course what other areas woke to.
And then, a friend called and asked I wanted to join her for lunch at the very “New Orleans Restaurant, Commander’s Palace.
Of course I agreed and besides the Lemon Drop Martinis , 3 for 25 cents, we had Crème Brûlée for dessert.
