Bookclub Day

We had a slow start to the day after an impromptu wee celebration for Arnie’s good news so it had been a later than normal night.

Soul did a grand job as usual of whipping the garden into shape and give it a good soaking as today was a scorcher. As I write at 19:30ish it’s 25 degrees.

Lots of water too for the pooches as it was a warm walk.

Then I headed off to Bookclub. One of my books from last month was The Book of Charlie. I hadn’t read it before adding it to our library but Jill had a surprise when reaching page 86 the story suddenly changed to the Homeschooling . It did go back to Charlie’s story a few pages later but with part of the story missing.

Never heard of this before but I will take it up with the publisher to see if it’s a once off or a “print run” problem. Certainly different.
