Shadow and Light, Black and White

This is the bow of a narrow boat moored in Loughborough Canal Basin which I visited this afternoon. The basin lies behind the Travelodge Hotel. There used to be a café but it's closed now. Probably not enough trade particularly with The Swan in the Rushes over the road.

The bow is painted white but because it was getting late in the afternoon, one side was deep in shadow, whereas the other side stood out in sunlight.

Did some printing but not totally happy with the way the prints have turned out. The one I like best is a phone camera shot. That was the least favourite of Len's.
