Clash Of Kings Day 1

We arrived at the venue for the weekend tournament around 9 a.m. for a 10 o’clock start.

There are around 200 competitors so approximately 100 tables that we set up last night in two halls at Nottingham High School. There are folk from Spain, France, Argentina, Norway, USA and Poland..so quite an international set!

I spent most of the day wandering around taking photos and then culling and  processing them… I have already taken about 400 shots…and prepped half so far for the organisers to use on the website.


It is hard to choose one for blip, but this fabulous purple creation caught my eye. There are so many amazing models, so beautifully painted

I have added an extra which is a view of one of the halls, taken from a gallery..you can see how much clutter there is around the players, so trying to get shots without coffee cups, beer bottles or lunch boxes was not easy…also, with so many people moving around they sometimes got in the shots..but it all adds o the atmosphere of the event.

EDIT - extra has now been uploaded - I blame the dodgy WiFi at the venue - nothing to do with the number of beers consumed…
