Peering at the Pier

Brighton West Pier, closed to the public in 1975 and subjected to two arson attacks in 2003 making it unnrepairable.

We are actually staying in Hove.
This morning Adele and l took Peggy for a walk in the nearby park while Tim had a shower.
We then left Peggy at  the house while we three went into Brighton and took the open top sightseeing bus for a tour around the city. Always a good way to find your bearings in a new place.

We went for a very nice late lunch and cocktails at Lost in the Lanes.
Did a little shopping for nibbles and wine to bring back for later.
There is a lovely garden belonging to the house and it’s quite a sun trap so might sit out there for a while.
Then another walk with Peggy.
Holiday or not , Adele and l will be watching Strictly.
