6 empty wasp nests
I had the tools I needed to install the new security camera, which arrived a day ago, so I sought a place to set it up. I thought a position on the second-floor balcony would be good.
Once I opened that seldom-used door, I got a fright. There are six dead or abandoned wasp nests in the space between the door and that piece of wood at the bottom. Yuck! Now I know why I would occasionally find a dead wasp in the room attached to the door.
That spot was too high to get detail, so I went back to the first floor. I drilled the three holes, using a three-hole sticker that came with it as a guide. I installed the base and set up the camera and solar panel. I connected it to the Wi-Fi router, and it's all set up. It records in color, infrared, and has sound and motion detection. It has 8 gigabytes of internal storage, so I don't have to worry about the cloud. I'll show it off tomorrow.
